Summer is here.

Summer is here… this means beaches, pools, vacations and other fun stuff…

Frankly speaking, i wish I could do all those this year… however, more important thing for me these days is how to beef up my wallet… so I can do all those things heheh…

Blue Moon

Shall we see the moon turn blue this 31st?

I think not. The term Blue Moon could be reffered to the second full moon within a month. I could remember that we had a full moon at the beginning of March, (or was it really on the 28th of February). And the moon is about to turn full again this 31st.

This is a very rare ocassion of having two full moons within a month… I suppose this is the origin of the phrase “Once in a blue moon”.

Any Business Ideas?

This is more of an open question for a post. 

I have a very very limited fund and looking for a small time business ideas that will have a quick ROI considering the limited amount involved. 

Darn… my brain’s actually empty of business ideas at the moment… May be I just need some suggestion to give  me a jump start. feel free to leave a comment here..

Can Anyone Listen Oon Your GSM Phone Calls?

I came across this article entitled “Anyone can listen in on your GSM phone calls”. *GASP!* … (well actually I was not that surprised and I’ll explain later why). In that article it says:

“security experts presented research at a Berlin computer conference to show just how vulnerable GSM technology was, with one Karsten Nohl saying he’d amassed several terabytes worth of tables that let any GSM voice conversation or text message be decrypted once it had been intercepted over the air.”

Strong Winds

The wind was unusually strong last night. It felt like a storm was brewing. It was strong enough that you can hear it howling. It wasn’t raining though, just strong winds.

I have just checked the weather on the net. It says there’s no tropical cyclone existing within the Philippine Area of Responsibility. That’s a relief.

The wind is still cold and strong though. Probably caused by theNorthEast monsoon. I kinda like this weather thought

Network Lag

Just a short post … after months of silence… heheh

I’m having a small problem with the lab’s network *sigh* . I’m using my pc as a router, and sad to say, it can’t handle all the traffic from the 40 workstations. . It’s just darn too slow.

And darn! some workstations are starting to crash … the very old one’s

I gotta find a way around these problems.. *sigh*

Summer Rain

 I don’t know if this happens to other places, but in this part of the country (Capiz) ,the sun is burning hot almost every morning… but in the afternoon, heavy rains will come pouring, and this started sometime in the middle of April! Which is supposed to be summer still!

I suppose this is just one of the effects of Global Warming!
